Welcome to the English Skeet Club. The English Skeet Club (ESC) was founded in the year 2000 as a democratic, non-profit making club, where the voice of the shooter could be heard and, more importantly, would be listened to. |

ESC runs Skeet competitions according to rules voted for by its members, although the shooting rules closely follow those as laid down by the national governing body, CPSA. Through the generosity of sponsors, there is often very good prize money to be competed for, in addition to better than normal entrance fee prize money, which always stays within the classes entered. The running of ESC, the shoots and other events, including the club's international match, is done by the members on a purely voluntary basis, ensuring that all monies taken by the club are given back to the shooter in one form or another. ESC's international match is run in classes, ensuring that shooters of all abilities get a chance to represent ESC against other skeet clubs. A further example is our "Blue Ribbon Event", The Grand Eastern Open, which has been won by shooters from every class because our "shoot off " system gives everyone, from AA to C, a chance to compete for the big sponsored prizes. We always aim to make every ESC competition a fun and fair event. The fee for membership to our club is very minimal, and I hope that we can attract many more members as we strive to improve events each year. On a personal note, I would like to thank all those that help me in making English Skeet Club a successful venture for all lovers of English Skeet, and I hope to see many of you in the months and years ahead. Good Shooting |
